Schwinn Le Tour – Parts
The Date Code on the Head Badge is 1811
This LeTour was Assembled on June 30, 1981
The part number of the rim is UKAIRIM 27  X 1 1/4 W/O  MADE IN JAPAN (see the last picture)
The model number on the freewheel is Shimano UG (see the 5th picture)
I had originally planned to restore the complete bike, but the paint on the frame was too far gone.  However, after being cleaned up, these wheels are in “like new” condition.
You may be able to find some of these parts for less money, but keep in mind that you would need to put in the time and effort to restore these parts.  I have done that for you.
The serial number on the dropout is 1I04808
If you are looking to restore a Le Tour these are excellent clean parts that may work for you.
